@ 1469 The drowning of Pharaoh and his army 44:24-29


44:24 Then leave the sea calm they are an army that will be drowned.'
# وَاتْرُكِ البَحْرَ رَهْواً إِنَّهُمْ جُندٌ مُّغْرَقُونَ 24
44:25 How many gardens and fountains did they leave behind,
# كَمْ تَرَكُوا مِن جَنَّاتٍ وَعُيُونٍ 25
44:26 and sown fields, fine sitting places,
# وَزُرُوعٍ وَمَقَامٍ كَرِيمٍ 26
44:27 and good things in which they took delight.
# وَنَعْمَةٍ كَانُوا فِيهَا فَاكِهِينَ 27
44:28 As such (it was). And We made other people inherit them.
# كَذَلِكَ وَأَوْرَثْنَاهَا قَوْماً آخَرِينَ 28
44:29 Neither heaven nor earth shed tears for them; nor were they respited,
# فَمَا بَكَتْ عَلَيْهِمُ السَّمَاءُ وَالأَرْضُ وَمَا كَانُوا مُنظَرِينَ 29
